Recent Websites

K-Net Media - http://media.knet.ca

This one was a challenge as we merged 3 sites into one. We took K-Net News, K-Net Photos, and K-Net Streaming and combined them using Drupal. It took some work to import all the news, stories and videos into the new site without loosing alot of content.

The News area lets you submit your own News Stories. The Video section of the site allows users to upload videos and it converts them into a flash format similar to Youtube. The Photos section is for K-Net staff to upload pictures of the various events and projects we work on.

We are adding RSS aggregation and syndication to the site so we can display news from other sites like the other KO sites and Community websites.

FirstNation.Ca - http://firstnation.ca

This site is intended to replace the outdated communities.knet.ca website. The FirstNation.ca is drupal based and has some Google Maps functionality built into it. This site is dynamically generated from information from the K-Net database the staff use to manage all the communities and customers we work with.

Keewaytinook Okimakanak - http://knet.ca/info

We are trying to remake most of the sites on K-Net to have a common brand and theme. This site takes the theme from media.knet.ca and displays all the current information about Keewaytinook Okimakanak.
